Lavender Thyme Gifts

Lavender Thyme is located in downtown Columbus Nebraska.  Housed in what was originally the Opera House, and then for years was Montgomery Wards, Pioneer Plaza is a comfortable and laid-back collection of small businesses offering everything from gifts (that's us), fabrics, computer repair, school and nursing uniforms, and hamburgers.

In addition to our handcrafted products, we have added many gift and product lines previously unavailable in Columbus.

We pride ourselves on friendly and helpful customer service. We know we wouldn't be here without our loyal customers who just keep coming back. 

Our store hours are:

Mondays 10:00 to 4:00

Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00 to 6:00

        Christmas Season we are open until 7:00 Thursdays

Wednesdays & Fridays 10:00 to 5:00

Saturdays 10:00 to 3:00

We are closed on Sundays

Let us introduce ourselves:

We are from a family of six children--3 boys and 3 girls. Our mom Mary Frances, is 94 and counting. 

This shop is all about the girls!

    Cora is the first of the two sisters.  She has 6 children, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and she still has time to work at the store 2-3 times a week, crochet beautiful baby afghans & christmas snowflakes, sew a variety of items for the store  AND visit her kids and grandkids and do volunteer work at her church.   She also ventures south to Texas for several weeks in the winter. 

    Linda is the next sister. She has 3 children-- one son and twin daughters. In July 2011, her third grandchild, Perry Willliam was born.   She now has three delightful grandkids, Adeline, Maya and Perry.    Linda sews baby quilts and other items including christening gowns and makes jewelry.  She also works at the store 2-3 times a week.
